tips2pips is a UK-based sole-operator business providing 1:1 Forex & Gold trading mentorship and educational content, operated by Charles. This policy covers tips2pips.com and the application process.
2. What we collect
- Application data: name, email address and WhatsApp number, submitted through the application form.
- Communication data: anything you send us by email, WhatsApp or during a call.
- Usage data: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, via analytics tools.
- Cookies: see Section 5.
3. How we use it
- To review your application and arrange a mentorship call.
- To respond to enquiries sent via the contact form, email or WhatsApp.
- To understand how visitors use the site (aggregated/analytics use only).
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Legal basis (UK GDPR)
We process application and contact data on the basis of consent and legitimate interest. Analytics cookies are only set with your consent, given via the cookie banner.
5. Cookies & tracking
Non-essential cookies are not set until you accept them via the cookie banner.
- Essential — required for the site and application form to function; always on.
- Analytics — e.g. Google Analytics.
- Advertising — e.g. Meta Pixel.
6. Third parties we may share data with
- Email and scheduling providers, to arrange your mentorship call.
- Zoom, for 1:1 sessions.
- Analytics and advertising platforms (only with consent).
- Hosting and security providers.
7. How long we keep data
Application data is kept for as long as reasonably needed. Unsuccessful applications are deleted after 12 months unless you ask us to remove them sooner.
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data. Contact us via the Contact page. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
